Welcome to the Shire of Heyford! As winter yields to spring and the days grow longer and hotter, the royal custom is to flee the heat of London and enjoy a relaxing progress through the English countryside. It is here that we find ourselves in the Shire of Heyford. The year is 1591, and Queen Elizabeth Regina Gloriana is arrived for a grand celebration to ease the burden of state that rests so heavily on her great shoulders.

Each villager, cook, entertainer, artisan, and courtier has a story to tell, wares to peddle, and feasts to cook. The only problem for you, dear traveller, is that one day is simply not enough time to experience all there is to offer!
